Wallace Bayne is an artist residing in Grand Junction, Colorado specializing in abstract paintings using acrylic, oil, oil pastel, and various kinds of magic markers. Wallace has transformed furniture with abstract finishing.

Wallace grew up in Denver, Colorado and attended the University of Colorado earning Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Geology (Geophysics). After graduating, Wallace spent an important year living in Europe and the Mediterranean. Wallace had a career working as an Exploration Geophysicist, living in many locations in the USA and in Colombia and Peru. He still practices Geophysics part-time.

Early in life Wallace spent his creative energies on musical pursuits. Becoming interested in painting later in life after being inspired by his mother’s artwork. Wallace’s lifetime work as a scientist influences his art.
